Slack Integration (Beta feature)

Slashpage Send a notification message to the desired Slack channel whenever a new post is uploaded to the channel.

Slack integration is a feature currently being tested with beta testers. If you would like to use it, please click ? > Help in the bottom left corner of the screen to apply.

Slack connection

In edit mode of the channel you want to link to Slack, click External Service Integration on the page menu on the right side of the screen.
Click Connect to Slack from the connection items .
Enter the Slack workspace URL where you want to receive notifications, log in, and click Allow to grant access to Slashpage .

Set connection name

In the Connection Settings window, enter a name to distinguish between multiple connections.

Specify the Slack channel to receive notifications

Select the channel you want.

How to make a private channel visible in the list

Enter a private channel in Slack and click the channel name at the top of the screen.

Click Add App on the Integration tab .
3.
Search for 'SlashPage' and click Add .
4.
Go back to Slashpage, refresh the page, and select Private Channel from the list.

Customize notification messages

You can check the default notification message format and edit it yourself.
Click + to select the data to include in the message, and it will be added to the input field. For a natural-sounding message, write your desired text between the data and click Save .

Check the results

Once the connection is complete, it will appear in the connection list. You can disable each connection, change its settings, or delete it.
When a new post is uploaded to the linked Slashpage channel, you will receive a notification message in Slack as shown below.
