Basic Terms

Sites, pages, channels, blocks, and /(slash) are basic concepts that you need to know when using Slashpage. You can learn what each of these is and how to use them.

Site

In Slashpage, a "Site" is equivalent to a single homepage. You can create multiple sites with a single account, each distinguished by a URL (http://slashpage,com/xxx) . When you first create a site, only one page is displayed, but you can add other pages or channels as needed. Sites are made public immediately upon creation and allow for SEO to be applied, but you can also set permissions to restrict access to specific members. To enable easy operation without integrating other services, features such as a subscription function to receive site content update notifications, basic metric information, block-based user view charts, in-site search, Clean URL, QR code generation, and Direct Messaging are provided by default.

Page

A Page is a space where you can add and arrange text, images, buttons, channels, subpages, and more. Added pages and channels can be viewed and modified in a hierarchical structure from the left sidebar. Various elements can be added in block units by typing / on the page and moved via drag and drop. Additionally, you can adjust or add the page's screen width, cover image, icon, title, table of contents, comment section, theme (changing the colors of elements such as backgrounds and buttons), and parts.

Channel

Channels are a feature that allows you to use services with a fixed structure, unlike pages. There are channels such as chat, blog, feed, and grid. At Slashpage, you can create a site that utilizes all of these simply by typing / . You cannot add pages to a channel, but you can connect existing pages using @ (mentions).

Block

A block is the smallest unit of separation for elements that can be added to the editor area of a page or channel. You can move a block above, below, to the left, or to the right of another block by dragging and dropping the block handle that appears when you hover the mouse pointer over it. You can also convert it to a different type of block or page by using "Convert to " in the layer that appears when you click the handle. The types of blocks that can be used by typing / include columns, toggles, quotes, images, image slides, tables, channels, and buttons.

/ (Slash)

The / (slash) is a command that allows you to add various elements in the editor area. You can add various elements by directly selecting the necessary element from the layers that appear when you type / in the editor area, or by typing / followed immediately by the name of the element you wish to add. Addable elements include spaces such as pages and channels, text with various formats such as titles or toggles, elements such as quotes or columns, media files such as images or videos, and fixed buttons at the bottom or buttons containing images.
